Our almost one year old...this one melts my heart

On our way to one year...here is Jeremiah's recent "month photos". My favorite...the crack....as he lurched off the side of the chair, just because. He just doesn't like to site for these anymore. It must take me 50 tries to get a good one...so enjoy that cute little smile!

A must see video...proof that our lives will never be the same. We thought it was so cute that he walked at nine months...now we are just out of breath chasing this quick little thing...and it has only begun!

Tooth Report

So it is official...the first tooth has cut through. His bottom right tooth came in less than 2 weeks ago and since then his top right tooth cut through. A lopsided smile only mother could love. I snapped a cute photo last night- but you can only see the bottom one.

FIRST STEPS!

Jeremiah's development is on supersonic mode right now in his ninth month. He has learned to throw a ball back and forth to us, crawl and push a toy across the room, walk on a walker, say dad and mama and...yes...take his first two steps! Enjoy some of the newest photos of our sweet boy!

The baby peed MY pants.!? Ok, so I will add to the list of "never thought it could/would happen list". Sitting on the side of the tub waiting for Jeremiah's bath and he started to pee...sneaky little boy actually got the stream to land where my bermuda shorts open at the back of my knees...and I will spare the details of it running "up or is it down?" my leg. Just check out the picture!

More 8 month old photos. Milestones from this last month: crawling and pulling up, and bot is he a quick one. He is also going to cut his first tooth any day now. My favorite thing to watch him sit on his knees with his little feet making a "W" and bounce up and down when music is on. He thinks he is so funny!

Now that I have a computer, I can update the blog more frequently. Here are Jeremiah's 6th, 7th and 8 month photos.

So Jeremiah has started to crawl. It's more of a commando crawl, but he gets to where he wants to go...typically after a cat or a corner of a room that inevitably has some interesting doo-dad like a dead bug or a leaf brought in by the dog that the vacuum missed. And speaking of vacuuming, no matter how much I do it, it grows grass and animal hair- hum. So he pulls with his left forearm and pushes with the tips of his right foot and often is accompanied by some excited short breaths of accomplishment. Today he discovered one of the most interesting toys in the house: the door stop. He figured out how to pull it one direction and let go so it would jiggle so fast back and forth that it would make him squeal with delight. Foreshadowing the inevitable, he pulled off the little white rubber stopper on the end, so now I must make the very hard decision of either taking super glue to each one or removing all from the house: decisions, decisions!

COMPUTER CRASH!!!!
Haven't been able to post any new pics because my computer crashed, but now with help from the hubs, I have his laptop for the weekend. So happy fourth of July a week late! Uncle Josh was down for the weekend and snapped some great photos of the guy. Here is just one of our favorites...

We have a baby that now eats cereal! Jeremiah will be turning 6 months on Monday and has started showing us that he is ready to eat. Enjoy the video of his first bites of food...

We were playing on the ground one day and Jeremiah started laughing as I jiggled my belly...the more I did it, the harder he laughed. Be prepared to smile...this video has that effect!

We had a wonderful time in San Diego and loved having friends and family around. Our week started at La Costa where Jeremiah got a chance to see his cousin Amelie and swim for the first time. Later that week we went to the zoo, visited with Great Grandma Rue and helped Grandma Ann pack up her classroom as she said good bye to 38 years of teaching and hello to retirement. We ended the week with a wonderful party to honor her where Jeremiah got to meet all her friends. Here are just a few videos and photos from our week.

Just a picture that I couldn't keep to myself...

Another month flew by, and now our baby is 5 months old. During his bday pic he quickly lost interest in the camera and became intrigued with the ceiling fan. Fingers are always his favorite these days!

We had a very sunny and very hot day planned last Sunday for a bead sale in Valencia. Jeremiah is sporting his new hot shades ready for the heat! He wanted to wear them on the top of his head like daddy does.

Just had to capture this adorable little face today as Jeremiah was practicing his airplanes on the ground. Most times accompanied by a few squeals he loves to let loose.
